Shadow & Bone – A Grishaverse Introduction – No thanks Leigh Bardugo

Back at you with another blog post! Hope this finds everyone well.  Spring has sprung here in Cape Breton – the sun has been shining, the air has been crisp, and lots of rain for all the may flowers. It’s almost time for me to put out my hummingbird feeders.  They are on their way & those little fuckers are going to need some food when they get here! Soon, I will be sitting outside, reading in the sun & hopefully catching sight of some hummingbirds.

A few days ago, I posted my review for The Storm and The Darkness by Sarah M. Cradit.  You can find it under the review tab or by clicking HERE. I’m hoping to get to the second book in the series by the end of the month.  I have been a reading machine lately.  I read seven books in March, and I am on track to read even more this month.  ! Yay.

My first read for April was Shadow and Bone & friends, I am baffled – all this hype surrounding the Grishaverse, the world seems obsessed. I was so happy to be finished reading that book and you can find out why I won’t be reading the rest of the Shadow and Bone trilogy by clicking here.

I’ll have some more reviews coming at you by the end of this week. I read Fable & Namesake by Adrienne Young and oh my. I’m still recovering, both books were absolutely brilliant and I’m sad it’s over.  I read Rhapsodic the first book from The Bargainer series by Laura Thalassa as well & oh boy it was also fantastic !

Stay safe everyone
